#Install/Transitioning from Addon Manager (UOAOM)

As a headsup:
GW2Radial (the one available through addon-manager/-loader) is not compatible with Nexus.
The developer has also no interest in making it compatible and doesn't even play the game anymore afaik. The alternative would be #radialmenus which is available through Nexus.

With that in mind:
If you want to load ArcDPS through Nexus

  1. Go to <GW2>/addons/arcdps.
  2. You should have a gw2addon_arcdps.dll file there, move it one folder up.
  3. You should now have <GW2>/addons/gw2addon_arcdps.dll
The naming of the file does not matter to Nexus, but to addon loader it requires to be called that way and located in the folder with a matching name.

If you want to keep addon-loader to be able to use FriendlyFire's Radial

  1. Rename d3d11.dll to d3d11_chainload.dll. (The file is 11KB.)
  2. Install Nexus as your new d3d11.dll.

If you want to get rid of addon-loader entirely

  1. Remove the following files:
  • <GW2>/addonLoader.dll (37KB)
  • <GW2>/d3d11.dll (11KB)
  • <GW2>/dxgi.dll (11KB)
  • <GW2>/bin64/dxgi.dll (11KB)
  • <GW2>/bin64/cef/dxgi.dll (11KB)

From the looks of your screenshots, you have correctly installed Nexus + Addon Loader.
So you'd only need to move arcdps if you want.
Or remove addonloader + gw2radial, if you want to transition to Nexus entirely.

I suggest first to check if the Radial in Nexus is working for you, some prefer FriendlyFire's.

Let's figure out the stuff above first, then we'll take a look at why clastbar clarity and maybe others don't function.

Thank you very much!
I think I'd want to keep the addonloader for the radial - for now!

I moved gw2addon_arcdps.dll up, and it does show up in Nexus' installed tab! What about arc plugins like unofficial extras and food reminder? I assume I would move their .dlls up aswell (?)

The issue I had with addons installed from Nexus' library tab seems to have resolved itself, idk why drool
I did the same steps yesterday, except for moving the arc.dll, but maybe I'm having a fishbrain moment

Anyway, thank you! I have no more issues rn peepohappyheart
