"Some Timers also utilize some basic forms of pathing, like how the Cannons for Sabetha will draw a path directly to your cannon, and same for Dhuum greens. To support this, kat is also implementing 3D pathing into TaimiHUD, much like you would see in Blish or Burrito. In fact, that codebase may eventually evolve into a standalone pathing addon, or possibly a shared library that multiple addons can hook into. And because it’s rendered directly in-game, this would also solve the problem of using standalone overlays, like pretty much every existing solution uses for pathing."

it’s like three layers of thing; taimi -> timey, it started as timers, taimi and blish, ofc is the obvious interpretation
and we ship many features equivalent to those from blish is the third

Evening! I apologize if this has already been reported or if I missed a setting somewhere but I noticed the timers repeat themselves and was wondering if there was a way to disable it? At one point I had 4 of the same timer up.
you installed multiple packs with the same timer
might i recommend uninstalling QuitarHero’s one, OR disabling duplicate timers

i assumed it pulled the packs if you had multiple and defaulted to one if there was duplicates

Hi I am in. I've been testing #world-render until they pointed me here. Playing on Ubuntu for over a year. I am mostly interested in the pathing feature as I wanted to complete World Completion. So far only world-renderer gave promising results on Linux. May I test some of TaimiHUD pathing?
I'm on Garuda and have been using it for the raid timers for a few weeks already. It kinda Just Works ™️ .
It'll probably be a minute before Taimi has pathing available publicly, but in the mean time, there's this:

I've been working on it, hoping I'll have something pre-alpha-testing ready this weekend :)
To set expectations: (for now) it won't support packs that require any kind of dynamic behavior. It will simply render every trail/poi from the categories that are enabled in the packs you shove into the folder.
Should get Linux folks like myself going on being able to follow map comp etc guides again :>

Burrito being out has helped, but it doesn't play nice with the mouse on multiple monitors in my experience and annoys me
I always have issues. One time it works ok, the other time I can either have GW2 active or burrito active and I am not able to play with makers. That's why I hate all these external apps. Not sure what makes the difference so that I was able to use it the first time.

well, rather: there’s no always on top float vs regular float
only tiling wm I used was xmonad and there was 100% an option for that
could even just write your own little function that forced a window to always be on top
there isn't on wayland afaik
or maybe on hyprland but not sway for sure
well you can pin windows but it won't show on top of fullscreen apps on sway
Gotta clean some stuff up still but I'll definitely have it ready for this weekend ;) still have to do some manual stuff beyond just getting the dll
