#Immersive boons

Goal of this pack is to integrate boons closer with an actual ui, instead of placing them randomly on the screen
Currently supports boons:

  • vigor
  • regeneration
  • aegis / block effects (combined indicator)
  • stability
  • might
  • fury
  • quickness
  • alacrity

Additionally, following features are added:
General:

  • Show current build name (based on snowcrows builds)
  • Show pinned food for specific build (based on snowcrows builds)
    Specialization specific:
  • Catalyst: show thresholds for energy to easily track if there is enough energy to cast 1 / 2 orbs in a row.

i dont know if thats possible but maybe a border around the weapon and utility skills for alac and quickk would be nice

Changelog:

  • Renamed Aegis to Aegis/Block. Indicator is now also shown for twelve blocking effects that I found on https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Block. If someone has additional effect ids that could be added, let me know.
  • Vigor indicator has been replaced by new indicator, based on skyscale energy bar, featuring blinking arrows indicating enhanced regeneration. Old Vigor πŸ₯š indicator can be re-enabled in addon settings in 'legacy-design' group.

This is not possible currently, if reffect ads health number element I would just put custom number on top of this one and customize it
For the next one I am doing might and also simplify vigor even more
I need some more reffect functions for some of the other stuff I want to make so it might take some time

@main loom still not possible because it would be complex logic, and it's against addon rules. There is no way to show different color of health if protection is present

  • Regeneration Duration text disabled by default. Time is represented by fading icon based on duration. In last 5 seconds icon pulses.
  • Vigor In the last 5 seconds icon pulses.
  • Aegis Duration is only shown in the last 5 seconds. Time is represented by fading icon based on duration.
  • Stability Duration is only shown in the last 5 seconds. Time is represented by fading icon based on duration.

This is looking better and better by the update. Maybe for Protection and Resolution, we get two quarter circles around the bottom half of the health globe, one for each condition, colour coded? Maybe red for Protection and Green for Resolution

For now I don't want to put more boons, especially near health globe because it already has a lot.
Now I want to do some build-specific stuff:

  • text indicating selected build
  • ability to pin effects
    Both for elementalist and food only by default, it would take long time to add all of them at once. But hopefully some of the users could then help and configure pinned buffs for their builds πŸ™

yep, it's possible - there is blish hud addon that does something like this but it's delayed because it uses API. Here we can use trait filters to show the text

Question: I've fixed this since, but when I first installed the pack, the UI was severely offset and didn't match the in-game UI. (I think X and Y positions of the pack were in the 10ks). Did I blunder during install or is this just something that one has to fix to match their own computer?

Also, the scale of fury overlapped Deadeye Malice pips so I reduced the size a bit, but that was an easy fix too πŸ™‚

Is this for now only focused around ele in terms of overlapping with game ui? Since it looks like it would overlap with any spec that has a bar above their weapons skills (necro, holo, specter, etc) and any spec with an element on top of/above the health globe (druid, untamed, deadeye, etc)
This looks really good and I'll definitely give it a try LOGGERS

This update mainly applies to the elementalist, although it sets foundation to adding build-specific configuration.
I will be glad for anyone helping to add similar configuration to other classes they use.
Changelog:

  • Improved readibility of Might
  • For all 9 raid snowcrows elementalist builds added text displaying build name
  • For all of those builds required food is recognized and displayed in new pinned effect slots. It helps to make sure correct food is eaten for current build.

I tried the pack and first I couldn't see anything. Tried to change image names from spaces to underscores, but didn't work either. Finally I figured out that the basic placement is incorrect for me.

I'm playing 1920*1080 windowed fullscreen and I had to change the Anchor for the whole immersive boons pack to "Top Center" and 361.50 position Y to make it work.

I tested on other screen which is full HD, thats true it won't currently work there

I will add info that for now it works only on 2K screens (2560x1440) without manual modifications.

Yeah the purpose is to check if you have the expected food/util, not to check if you have any at all

Is there any way to manually set the expected food for certain characters? I don't use snowcrows builds.

Problem with checking "any" food is basically every single food effect in the game has separate ID, so you would have to list every single id which is a lot

you could manually add it to the pack, you have to reffect pack settings:
/class-specific/{class}/{profession}

  1. Copy one of the builds by rightclicking, for example "pdps"
  2. Right click on profession to paste
  3. Change name and trait id filters for traits you use (f.e pdps new)
    You can get trait ID from wiki pages (screenshot attached for 1962)
  4. Change food and enchancement effect ids in "{noutrishment}/icons" and "{enhancement}/icons", they can be found here: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2_Wiki:Projects/Nourishment_effect_ids
    And that should be all

but when I update versions you have to do it again, best way is to have separate pack as a backup so you can copy and paste when I update

Very cool pack. Unfortunately, I play with a resolution of 3840x2160 and a UI scale of 150% as recommended by Windows and it results in the pack icons and relative positions being too small to fit the game-UI. I could adjust the position of the whole pack in the json file to be at the roughly correct place but I could not find anywhere to scale the whole pack (both icons and positions). So for me, I guess I have to either don't use the pack or play with another resolution to make it work. It looks really cool though.
