Having some issues getting Nexus installed. I did a full, clean install of GW2 and tried installing via the installer, it put the files in place but nothing pops up in game. CTRL+O also doesn't bring up anything.

I removed the dx3d11.dll the Nexus installer put in, then replaced it with the direct download and unblocked the file (I had to do this via powershell since it kept saying the file wasn't found if I did it via GUI).

Now I have the d3d11.dll in place, unblocked, and the nexus folders exist but still no luck on getting anything working in game. I'm assuming I'm just missing something obvious.

You should be able to delete bin64/cef/d3d11.dll, as you've already got it in the root GW2 dir

I'm not sure if that would be cause of this issue though

You could also make sure that you've unblocked the d3d11.dll in the root dir, and not the bin64/cef copy

I added it there actually just for testing

Deleted the extra in /cef/ and confirmed this is still unblocked in the root dir

Are you by any chance using some kind of overlays or other tools that hook directx? Usual suspect like that is for example RTSS. Also are there any logs in addons/nexus

I am using RTSS, is that not supported with Nexus? It works fine with Blish/arc?

Lemme try turning it off, if anything I can probably create a profile for gw2 for it and turn off the display. I kicked off another fresh install just to make sure I didn't do anything really dumb so it's redownloading atm

RTSS is overwriting games graphical backend and therefore nexus as well.

The issue is fully caused by RTSS method of hooking directx. We are trying to create solution that would make RTSS compatible but no luck so far.

Blish is application separate from game so it's graphics backend is not being overwritten.

I am not sure why arcdps works but even that is being reported to be case by case. It works for someone while not working for others.
