#SelectRenderer

I haven't checked yet with select renderer, I'll take a look.
Are you sure your installation is correct?
The game works normally if I just don't pick anything here
the other renderers, dxvk and dxvk-async, were detected by selectrender
Quick question, because I'm seeing wine mentioned in the dxvk repository, is this linux only?
No, it works on Windows normally
Ah, okay. I'll try to get this running and see if Ican reproduce the issue
definetly tiered to DXVK, since ReShade renderer works perfectly fine
I think I'm running dxvk now?
the issue I'm having though is that this menu is no longer interactable after a restart
were you trying dxvk or dxvk-async?
I only tried the non-async one
I doubt it lol
the selectrenderer thing is very weird, so I'm not surprised
do you have all dxgi files?
I'm guessing yes, but besides having the SelectRenderer you also got the lib_imgui.dll installed right?
<GW2>/dxgi.dll
<GW2>/bin64/dxgi.dll
<GW2>/bin64/cef/dxgi.dll
yeah, this guy is here
SelectRenderer menu wouldn't be showing if they hadn't
it's just a very weird addon
yes, all 3 are there
can you share a screenshot of your main gw2 directory?
share the gw2al_log.txt please
can you try removing d912pxy?
I see that it initialises there, and that sounds like a very weird setup
when the game loads dx11, downgrades to 9, upgrades to 12 somehow but also uses dxvk from 9
still crashing?
has it previously worked, before you installed nexus
meaning just addon loader?
yeah
let me install clarity and radial, maybe it's related to those
oh yea
installing radial =instant crash
let me see if I can find the .pdb for that
it seems it crashes on the update check
I'll try to get it working
oh
and it produces ghost clients
amazing
now it crashes somewhere else
I don't think I'm able to fix it
and I doubt friendly fire has the time or interest to fix it either
damn
So, the only alternative I can give:
Use the stock renderer for now (reshade should still work if you care?)
And I'm currently working on Nexus-based alternatives for Radial/Clarity
I don't know if dxvk-async has a significant impact on you, but from my short tests my FPS was basically the same
I'd rather drop radial, personally, I do get some big performance increases with dxvk
I guess it is what it is
I haven't tested Clarity, can you try it with just that?
sure
I don't even know where to download clarity lol
same dev, even
crashed too

Well, then your options I guess are:
- Remove Nexus for now
- Use stock renderer for now
- Remove Radial/Clarity
removing both did work
This is all a bit annoying
I can't really give an estimate of when I have time to port those two addons
I hope to have them done by the end of the month
