Same thing

ok its working now, maybe i fixed it for good. what i did was what this guy said to some other guy here: #monster-hunter message

#

i did try to update nimbus before but i didnt used the combined zip but the cia.zip one (edit: i tried with the cia.zip first but it still didnt work, then i used the combined.zip as suggested in the discord message i linked above). after downloading and putting the downloaded files in place i opened citra, then File>boot home menu, then opened nimbus, then i pressed start on my controller to reboot system

#

then i stopped the emulator to exit boot home menu, then i went to 4u and i could go online

Do you have any error code?

steel forge
#

nope, the game just disconnects immediately after trying to connect online

#

Says "Connecting..." then says "Disconnecting..."

#

We tried deleting the nimbus folder + related files and readding them, redoing the 3ds system files setup, and uninstalled and reinstalled the nimbus cia, but still no luck

Unfortunately, this does mean you can never actually get the error code.

@steel forge Can you have your friend make a support thread so that we aren't piggybacking off of another user's support thread?

I was able to figure out the solution also

I deleted user/nand/data/00000000000000000000000000000000/sysdata/00010032 and then reran nimbus

#

It displays an error, something like "unable to switch accounts", emulation->restart and then click on pretendo

#

And then it worked again

ok

In case anyone else has the same issue, those are the steps I took

I just saw both 'solutions' above, and uh, I want to point out:

  1. The combined.zip file (versus cia.zip) has just one extra 3dsx file, that shouldn't make any functional difference (assuming this is for fixing error 022-0122)
  2. Deleting the 00010032 file will ⚠️ erase all registered 3DS friends (including Nintendo and Pretendo friend codes) from the console and might have other unforeseen consequences (like desynching the account slots)

I might seem paranoid/rude for saying this, but please don't recommend either of these solutions out of context (especially since many are going to try it without taking context into consideration)
