I wanted to log in using the Prentendo account details I had previously set up on the website. I went into the System Settings under "Nintendo Network ID Settings" and encountered this error code: 0xe0a0183. In Luma3DS, I also have "Enable loading external FIRMs and modules" and "Enable game patching" checked. I also downloaded Nimbus via the Universal Updater; here is a picture.

This error is caused by a plugin you are using (usually, the HokakuCTR plugin)
Navigate to the /luma/plugins folder on your SD card, and inside it, delete any file(s) named default.3gx or user_param.bin. Then reboot the 3DS and try again.
