So this could just be me still not understanding things fully however I have a account with beta access and I can't access the game I'm trying to access the servers for which is MHXX. Is this me not understanding something like do the servers only open up at certain times or is there a different issue.

For me that would have been about 12-13 hours ago

Oh that is a bit out of date unfortunately.
3DS needs to be manually whitelisted.
Post your friend code in #testing-discussion and ping whitelist-ping
