Pretendo is seemingly crashing 3ds?

whenever i turn on my console and check what account is being used and its pretendo, i try to connect online in monster hunter generations ultimate but the message acts as if its the regular Nintendo account being used, and when i go to change accounts and re open monster hunter it seemingly just crashes on the spot, and im unsure what to do

Does the top screen flash blue (or any color) prior to that crash?

If it does, it means you have a plugin active. Some games tend to not like that, particularly on old console models (due to more RAM being used, and old consoles having less RAM than new models).

Open FBI (or any file browser), then navigate to /luma/plugins (on your SD card) and delete any file(s) named default.3gx or user_param.bin (if they exist) in that folder.
Then reboot the console and try opening the game again.

i just tried that, it was doing the blue screen thing but its giving me the same issues after deleting those files, im not sure if its important but i have a new 3ds xl

So now, are you saying that the game crashes without doing the blue screen? Or is it still doing it?

Even if you delete user_param.bin and reboot the console (turning off and on again)?
You have to complete both these steps one after another, without opening the game in between. Or else the user_param.bin file that you deleted will just reappear.

yeah now theres no blue screen this time but it crashes still, i deleted the files and turned it off and on instantly after to try it again and still trying to use pretendo account makes it freak out and give me that screen

Have you tried reinstalling Nimbus from Universal-Updater perhaps and ensuring your Luma verson is the latest?

i did try deleting and reinstalling nimbus but havent checked luma actually so ill try to do that rn

yeee did redownload through universal updated, then re deleted the files he had mention before

Ok then yea update Luma if it isn't already (can also do through Universal-Updater), and re-check game patching and external FIRMs if necessary.

its worked and the game isnt crashing anymore seemingly but now im back to getting error code 002-0110

okay, i take it back the crashing is back, it looks like if i switching from nintendo to pretendo, it gives that same code but wont crash the game, if i select pretendo account again while its already selected, it prompts it to crash like that again
