Is this normal for this to happen?

I would say this is more of a question than a request for help, I have used the Nimbus plug-in launch before yesterday and it worked perfectly fine except it crashing when I use the friends list if I wanted to add anyone. Which idk if that's normal for that to happen as well...

Now I wanted to go to the Tortimer Islands today bc why not, and have used the Nimbus plug-in launch before I got into animal crossing but this happened and I'm just confused. Is it a common occurrence to players who have experienced this too? Is this normal and is there a way to fix this so that way this doesn't pop up again? I find it a pain having to shut down everytime because when this happens, none of my buttons work except for the power button despite it saying "Press any button to reboot" and I would have to press the power button twice for a while to turn it off completely. :/

A. Is your console a New or Old model console
B. Do you have Wumiibo installed?

It's an older model of the 3dsl XL.

And I do have Wumiibo installed but I believe it's disabled?

I'll do that right away, I'm assuming Wumiibo messes up the Nimbus connection?

No, instead it's just the console running out of memory as far as I know

You can safely re-enable Wumiibo when you're not using online features, but IIRC most of the time when the console wants to do something online and Wumiibo is enabled, it will just run out of memory and crash like this

That's weird....Although it's worked at couple of times, it's just the crashing has become an occurrence and I was wondering why
