At this time, it isn't necessary to unlink the PNID from one 3DS to use it on another. Once the new console is modded (https://3ds.hacks.guide/), you simply install Nimbus (via Universal Updater), open it and press START, reopen it and switch to Pretendo, then go to System Settings > NNID Settings > Link an existing NNID
To unlink the PNID from the old 3DS (in case you give it away), open Nimbus and press the X button. (You may need to update Nimbus to a newer version if it doesn't offer that option.)
