Support code detected, press to expand information
Do an internet connection and tell me which support code shows up
Ok. I literally just woke up
Also i did a test connection and it said connection successful
If u mean that-
I can make rooms in games but noone can join, i cant join other rooms and cant go worldwide.
I tried many games and got thesame error code
that is NOT what i meant
there is a support code in the bottom right after you finish a connection test
You got dealt a shitty hand, you'll need to look into ways to increase your NAT Type because I believe right now you are at D which is the worst NAT Type that doesnt remove any possibility of doing p2p connection
Before I begin, I would like to thank @piplupness and @PN_quarky for helping me test this, as well as some initial information posted by @numerofoxtheglaceon_ on Pretendo’s Discord server. I initially started working on this after information was very vague on how to decode a code that the Connection Test outputs, all I had to go from when I ...
Um
Ok, so ig i need to fix that somehow
Anyways
Thanks
But could u explain in short what's going on?
I suck at tech stuff
Before i modded my wii u the online was functioning just fine, after i modded it- well this happened
ight i dont understand anything
what am i even suppose to do?
so i cant do anything, great...
maybe modding the wii u was a bad idea
nvm i turned off Inkay and with "Nintendo Network" using the pretendo DNS now im back online-
im so confused...
now miiverse is loading forever
huh- and if i turn Inkay back on it wont work again
ight i give up- i guess i wont need inkay just for miiverse, ill stick just to the DNS cuz i have no more nerves to deal with this stuff... its confusing me a lot
i got Support Code: 220-00 and now i can play online in lobbies.
idk ill just leave all of this to u to figure out if any of this info means anything to u that is-
@viral quail
So your NAT type is bad, off the top of my head I think 220-01 is NAT D? Either C or D, which means you can only play with users who have NAT type A
In simple terms, as far as I know, your router is very strict about who can and cannot connect, and most people cannot connect as in my experience, most people tend to have NAT type B
This is nothing to do with modding your Wii U and typically everything to do with your router or ISP, there's not much we can do other than suggest setting up port triggering/forwarding rules, as this is a problem on your end
To be fair, it's not the worst NAT type, you can still play online but only with NAT type A users, NAT type F cannot do P2P at all apparently
thanks
so i need to take down the fire wall from my router
is that it?
@trim swift
I wouldn't recommend that, since a firewall is a security feature and I'd rather not make things less secure, but if you find that it makes the connection better, do what you must if you're okay with it
alrighty
