Assuming your Wii U isn't modded (no Aroma, no Inkay), you likely haven't configured the DNS settings for the SSSL method on the new connection profile. (If you already set up the Inkay plugin, then disregard this advice.)

Primary DNS: 88.198.140.154
Secondary DNS: 9.9.9.9 (Quad9 DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google)
