Tried setting up pretendo on my 3ds but I ran into several problems, first I made my pnid on the website but when I tried to link it I couldn’t, and I checked my email to verify my pnid but It took me to a site saying I couldn’t access it due to high traffic, then someone said I could make a pnid on my 3ds so I made what I thought was a pnid on the Nintendo network id settings with pretendo on but most apps like miiverse still wouldn’t function. Please help. I’m not sure if I need any other things other than pretendo for it to work?

Did you switch to Pretendo in Nimbus?

When you open the friend list friends , does it say you are online, or do you get an error code? If so please provide it. We can't help with vague information

On the friends list I get error 002-0121 maybe due to region swapping my 3ds however says I’m offline too, pretendo is turned on and my mii verse error code is 022-2882

Both errors are pointing to an issue in Nimbus or Luma

Let's go through the full basic troubleshooting. Try this:

Open Universal Updater
Search “Luma3DS” and press A to install boot.firm
Still in Universal Updater, also search “Nimbus”, press A on the purple icon (the other one isn't affiliated with us) and install nimbus.cia (no need to uninstall first)
Turn off your console
Hold SELECT and turn it on
Make sure both of the following options are ticked as follows:

(x) Enable loading external FIRMs and modules
(x) Enable game patching

Hit START to save and return to the 3DS home menu.
Open Nimbus now and press START to finish the Nimbus update process from earlier in Step 3.
Open Friend List and tell us if you see any error now.

This part intrigues me

You may have accidentally created a NNID on Nintendo servers whilst Pretendo was selected in Nimbus, if what you're saying is true.

First, open Nimbus and switch to Nintendo, then open eShop, wait for it to load or return an error, then exit out of it and switch back to Pretendo

then open Miiverse and tell me what happens

If you say "i forgot" and request a password reset (via the console, not the website), do you get an error code?

Open Nimbus and press X to unlink your "PNID"

The ID you created through your console at 1 a.m was not a PNID (i.e., not a Pretendo account), it was mistakenly a NNID, as a result of Nimbus not working previously
