#I can't add friends

I have a small problem, I'm trying to add someone but it constantly tells me I'm offline (when before trying to add them it said I was online)

Are you using an emulator instead of a console, perchance?

Uhhh, then let me explain again. When I go to add friends, it says I'm online, but then after trying to add one, it gives me an error and says I'm offline.

Okay, somehow it's fixed. I tried several things, and I'm not sure which one worked:

  1. Update Nimbus (I had already updated through Universal-Updater, but I went to GitHub and copied some files). When I opened Nimbus, I rebooted.
  2. Open the eShop (the first time I got a black screen, the second time I got an error).
  3. Switch from Pretendo to Nintendo (I had done this before, but this time a message appeared at the top saying "load //// friends error" with an alphanumeric code below and asking me to restart). Then I switched from Nintendo to Pretendo.
  4. Open Settings > Nintendo Network (to see if I was logged in).
  5. Switch back from Pretendo to Nintendo (this time there was no error message).
  6. Open the friends list and add someone (this time I didn't get the connection error).
  7. Open Nimbus and switch from Nintendo to Pretendo.
  8. It's fixed.
