Are you getting an error code? Do you just need some assistance with getting Inkay set up? What's the problem?

I havent played on my wii u for a while and i m trying to update aroma or inkay idk what the issue is but my wii u wont show the aroma updater and when i plugged it in again (the SD card) is said failed to load payload

I did update inkay but it already was updated i think

The current version of Inkay is 3.0.0
You may need to just turn off your Wii U and eject and insert the SD card into the Wii U multiple times before turning it back it, essentially scraping off any possible corrosion or dust which may be blocking the connection
After that, are you sure you're using Aroma?

If your SD card isn't making good contact, then it won't show anything on the SD card as it cannot find it

Look i did boot my wii u up and it did work but the aroma apps and stuff werent on there it said to update to the latest version of aroma

I'm not sure about the troubleshooting steps for Aroma, as this seems like some sort of strange issue separate from Inkay, have Nintendo Homebrew chime in on what you can do
Explain that you're having issues getting your Wii U to read the SD card and boot into Aroma, and they should be able to help you

You can update using a PC, you'd need to put the files on there yourself
I don't know how to fix this because this could be equal parts bad SD card as it could be bad payload
Again, if it keeps happening, ask Nintendo Homebrew, when someone answers you will be in capable hands

That's just because Chrome decided to make itself the default app for that file type
It doesn't mean anything about the actual contents of the file
