how do i update pretendo?

i think there's an update for pretendo for animal crossing or smth how do i update pretendo for it?

it's displayed on right bottom of the top screen when you open Nimbus

2.0.2 is the latest, as of this writing.

Anyway, switch to Nintendo servers (via Nimbus) and make sure the base game (New Leaf, or New Leaf Welcome Amiibo) is on the latest version. Then, switch to Pretendo, and (also in Nimbus) press Y then START before opening the game.

the plugin has to be running for the game to work (in Nimbus, press Y, then press Start or Home to return to the Home Menu. Do Not select a network, that will reboot the console)

yes and no

if you press Y, it would launch the standard Nimbus plugin instead of Vapecord. If you don't press Y, it would launch Vapecord by default.

The standard plugin has the RCE patch that is needed to play ACNL online on Pretendo. Newer versions of the Vapecord plugin (v2.0.0 and above) also include this patch.
You should also update ACNL to its latest version if necessary, by switching to Nintendo first (in Nimbus).
