of course if you have a client-side ink color change you SHOULD be fine...?

same colors on both sides can basically mess up the entire server

so let me clarify. server-side night time won't apply to people unless you're the one hosting the game with it

it works similarly to server-sided colors
That probably explains why some games can be laggy....

No, each player has their own bullet parameters. This is controlled by your own parameters

everyone connected to game takes ink color from host?
Everyone has the same gfx color packs but the host decides/rng randomizer which gfx pack is chosen
Yes
With code: The host decides everything, including which map is used. If the map that is to be used "next" is spoofed, that map is then selected
Without code: The host uses an RNG randomizer to determine the map ID in the BOSS files. If you change the ID, the map that is next would also be loaded

when I try to join him I've got 118-0521

Then it is the NAT type of the host/your friend, if the NAT type is too bad/too slow, it is difficult to connect
