So we have tried using a wired and a wireless connection and the DNS is the exact how it should be and it connects fine but it still won't connect to the servers?

Yes my girlfriend used to do it just fine and home and at her college now

#

Refuses to work

like, what error code?

vernal rock
#

Not even a error code

#

Just won't connect to the servers

We need to know at least the message it says, and also the context of it
As in, does it happen on the Wii U menu? Or when trying to link an account (PNID) to a user?

yep

#

if it doesn't have an error code, it should have a message atleast

Well it always says sign in to your account and so she always tried that and it says wrong password now even though it isn't but when we use the exact same password on the website it'll login just fine and we tried linking a new pretendo user but no luck

#

I even tried putting in the DNS and it'll connect to the Internet just fine but just nothing works after that no messages no nothing just the incorrect password fiasco for awhile now

Her Wii u isn't modded so only DNS and no

If so then the issue could be caused by college blocking the SSSL method, and you would have to mod the console with Aroma + Inkay (and reset the DNS address to "auto-obtain") in order to prevent this.

#

It is known that SSSL doesn't work on some ISPs (internet service providers)

Actually her Wii u quit connecting the ssl from her home network too

#

It used to work just fine at her house but randomly starting saying the incorrect password thing

and we tried linking a new pretendo user but no luck
I would like to know more context about this, if possible
Were you linking the PNID of an account freshly created via the Pretendo website, or were you creating a whole user+account from the Wii U directly? And what kind of error code/message did you get?

If there is any other user on this Wii U that has a nintendonetwork badge indicator (meaning it has a linked ID), but is not an existing Nintendo Network user, you could change users (by tapping the Mii in the upper left corner while in Wii U menu) and try to sign in with those. Just check if it says invalid password
