Like I said, my nintendo network id password wont work, stopping me from accessing loads of features, and the email verification wont work due to "high traffic", and i cant find anywhere to input the code in that same email.

Passwords being the same isn't the issue.
Ensure the following:
- The Pretendo account you created has been linked to a user on the console (other than the one linked to a NNID, which it is NOT recommended to delete as you would lose access to purchased software if there is any.)
- The Pretendo account does not share the same name as the NNID. ("Name" in this case means the login name.)
- You are signed into the correct user on the Wii U. (Choose "Change User" from the user menu in the top left corner if you need to.)
