America/Toronto time zone not present in account settings

My country setting is set to Canada and I'm not seeing the option of setting a time zone to the America/Toronto time zone (or EST)

because even if I set my account's country setting to Japan, I don't see any Japan-specific time zones.

when I tested this, I didn't see any of those options after changing country

obviously blurred personal info, but even after setting the country to Canada, I still only see these time zones

I'll try actually saving this data, then I'll check again.

had to actually save the data and then re-open account settings

and if I select Japan and restart, this happens

so it seems that things are working correctly!

@tardy mason once you set your country, tap Submit and re-open the Account Settings page via Change User Information. then you should find timezones and regions

though I feel like in the past I didn't have to restart?

the wii u/3ds uses its own time zone settings either way

so it’s not super important to have the PNID time zone accurate
