#WiiU, Cannot add pretendo nid, 102-2106

So, this is a fresh installation of aurora on this device today. I connect to WiFi, set the pretendo DNS, do network test, it's extremely slow but does complete successfully. Go to add nnid, it times out with the 102-2106.

Tested on a completely different internet connection, same issue.

Cannot open webpages either.

Switched DNS to quad9, connection test much faster, can open webpages.

Best guess right now is pretendo DNS is responding too slowly, so everything times out. But any other ideas are appreciated.

do you have nimbus and sssl running at the same time?
