yeah, I've had this issue before
right now it seems as though verifying emails on 3DS is broken?

you'll need a Wii U for this, unless there's another way I'm unaware of

be aware that it's not necessary to verify your email, however you may continue to receive reminders until your address is verified

you might be able to verify with an unmodded console, though it's strongly recommended that you mod it
