So my friend recently got a modded 3ds and we tried adding eachother but when we add our codes they didnt work, so i thought maybe he didnt have pretendo installed but he said that he was able to add his friend and currently i think its maybe were not on the same firmware but im not sure. Can someone help?

If he doesnt have Nimbus you cant add him, Pretendo FCs are not in Nintendo servers
