error code?
mmm, this happens to me sometimes, lemme pull up my solutions real quick
Do you have a hard drive on top of the console
okay, also this has been happening since yesterday idk why
no its not on top, its in the back i think
my gamepad sits on top of it sometimes when im not using my wii u tho
Unable to find the Wi-Fi network
assigned to your current Connection
Slot.
Please confirm that your Wi-Fi
network is live and currently up,
and that the SSID has been set
correctly. Check the SSID you entered
under the Internet option in System
Settings.
If the Wi-Fi network is secured using
WEP, it's possible you entered the
wrong password/security key. Re-enter
it just to be sure.
If your Wi-Fi network is not configured to
broadcast Internet over a 2.4GHz band,
please configure that. The Wii U does not
support the use of 5GHz, Wi-Fi 6, or
Wi-Fi 7 bands.
Try disconnecting your wireless router
from power. Wait a few minutes, then
reconnect it.
Make sure your Wii U is close enough to
the router that it can receive a signal.
Certain electronics may cause interference.
Move these devices to another location.
If you are unable to change your Internet's
settings, or you need assistance with this,
please contact your Internet provider.
If all of the above has been checked and
you are still having issues, remove the
CMOS battery, and unplug your console.
Please note that this will result in the
date and time settings being inaccurate, and
may cause issues with certain titles. Wait
15 minutes, then plug your console back in,
power it on, and reinstall the battery. For
more assistance, please visit the Nintendo
Homebrew Discord server at
discord.gg/nintendohomebrew.
how do i check what my internet is configured to?
you could go into your Wi-Fi settings, but lemme ask this:
on the list of available networks, are you able to find your network?
mhm?
yes
cmos battery like gamepad battery?
try removing the battery from the Wii U itself, wait a while and try again
oh
im in the server
oh okay
alright so should i ask them what a cmos battery is or tell them abt the issue
I'd see if someone's already discussed 103-160X (the X can be any number from 0 to 7)
if for whatever reason you can't find such a thing, make a new support query
whats 103-160X?
that could be anything from 1600 to 1607
oh okay

I meant like the internal name
the number in the X indicates what Connection Slot is being used
ah
so in this case, 4 is used to indicate a fault with Connection Slot 4
worst case scenario fuck it and go ethernet adapter
THough ones Wii/Wii U compatible are getting rarer
ohh, got it
103-1603

nvm his repo doesn't even have a known name for 160X errors
you know you can read my repository right
oh
yeah no i couldnt find one for it
