I've installed Nimbus, and switched to Pretendo. I try to make a PNID and get the error code 022-2402. I have no errors in my friends list. I'm aware that switching languages tends to work to fix the error code, but my 3DS is Japanese, so there are no languages to switch to. Is there another way to fix this?

Maybe you can try dezoning your console so it has access to other languages ?

heck you can even change the region of your console this way, but I don't see the point, except if even dezoning doesn't allow you to switch languages

Region changing has downsides currently as no SOAP transfers
and Pretendo should work on Japanese consoles

then since you cant change the language you can either make the account on the website and bite the bullet at not being able to change the info (doesnt even matter on 3DS)
