Nope not getting an error code on the friend list or anywhere else for that matter except for the log in page of the miiverse. Even added the FC of a friend and that worked just fine

German (the language the system usually is set to)

French
Spanish
Actually there's one more thing I forgot to mention, I used this PN ID on another 3DS which i borrowed before getting one for myself (had one ages ago and then sold it at some point, back when NN still was around). Could it be that the serial of that 3DS still tied to the profile which might cause the new 3DS to get rejected when logging in? I believe that with NN the account was hard-tied to the console it was first signed into.
