Can i use Pretendo with a NID, or i have to be on a PID?

nintendo network id and pretendo network id are 2 separate things

So ok now i am in the PNID and suppously using pretendo the app has pretendo select it, what do i do now?

if you have the pretendo servers selected you dont need to link a pnid you can just play online but if you want to use miiverse (juxtaposition) you need to link a pnid

i followed the install instructions to a T and i used the 3dsx version but when i go to nimbus and switch to pretendo nothing rly happens and it just boots me to the home screen, is that normal?

ur supposed to go to settings and then nnid settings

Mario Kart 7 and Smash Bros both wont connect they come with errors but i am pretty sure iam connected to Pretendo using nimbus, also iam log in to PNID so i am guessing it should work correctly..Or i am doing something wrong not sure.
