#[SOLVED] Attempted to move PNID from one console to another, now neither can connect (022-5432)

I just got a n3DS XL, and wanted to transfer my PNID from my n2DS XL to this console. I followed the directions for unlinking (these: https://forum.pretendo.network/t/pnid-deletion-request-for-this-account/6731/6) a PNID, so it appears that my PNID is no longer associated with my n2DS XL. However, I cannot successfully sign in to my PNID on my n3DS XL. Both consoles display the error code 022-5432 when attempting to do anything related to Nintendo Network now when Nimbus is set to use Pretendo. I can get as far as confirming that I want to use my local Mii for my account in the NNID settings on my new console, but then upon confirming that it immediately throws the 022-5432 error. I can't seem to find any explanation of what that error is.

In case it's relevant: the n3DS XL was factory reset when I got it, so it had no proper NNID linked already. I immediately switch to Pretendo via Nimbus before trying to sign in.

I have ensured of course that all of the relevant patches are on my n3DS XL, and Luma is set to do its patching magic.

I'll give it a go on the n3DS XL. That's what got the n2DS XL into the state it's in now where any NNID-related stuff throws the error, because I did that to try and unlink the PNID

After I confirm that I want to use my local Mii (or use the remote one, I tried both options) the "Linking..." popup starts to appear and is immediately interrupted by the error 022-5432 message

Yes and no, I have one but it's already linked on the n2DS XL

The n2DS XL is showing the exact same symptoms as well

The unlink guide said I should get code 015-5015 to indicate that it's unlinked but instead accessing any NNID-related stuff while on Pretendo just gives me 022-5432

Shouldn't be, the n3DS XL is new to me and I didn't do anything weird when I set up the internet earlier

I even copied them on via FTP this time too, initially I had the SD card in my mac

So now I'm curious if my n2DS XL needs the files replaced as well...?

That one was working fine on Pretendo (Miiverse and such worked as expected) until I tried to unlink it

So idk why reinstalling Nimbus would make a difference but it's the same behavior soooooo maybe?

Okay I've verified that I can access Miiverse, so all is well

Not sure about the n2DS XL but tbh I don't intend to use a PNID there so if it stays broken then ah well

TL;DR for future generations: try the eShop trick a solid 2-3 times and also try reinstalling Nimbus if that doesn't work
