Ok since you seem to be inactive and i have to go finish something else up i will just include the instructions for both.

Wii U
Once you have your account set up, you will need to restart your Wii U and select your new PNID. When signing in, you should get a popup that says "Verify your e-mail address". On that screen, click the "Enter Verification Code" button and enter the verification code from the email. If you get an error code and the verification code is correct, click the "Resend e-mail" button, and wait until you get a new verification code, and try again.

3DS
Once you have your account set up, open Miiverse and it should have a popup that says "Verify e-mail address". Click the box to open the keyboard and type in the verification code that was sent to you in the email.
