If you're getting error code 022-5432, switch to Nintendo, open eShop, then switch back to Pretendo
You also need to sign into a PNID through system settings, otherwise you will get error 015-5015

I'm adding to this, in the #faq it says to open eshop and when u get an error, close it and switch back to pretendu, but I'm not getting an error in eshop. Instead, I'm asked to update the system. Any idea how to fix it?

You don't need to get an error in the eShop for that to work, but what version is your 3DS on?
Shouldn't matter anyways, the eShop simply needs to open, but still
