just asking for basic guidance, is there any other way to unlink my nnid from my 3ds without reformatting?
my original nnid is currently linked to my 3ds, and i need to remove it before i can switch to my pnid
i had a similar problem on wii u but got around it by just making two accounts, an nnid account and a pnid account

if i do have to reformat, do i keep luma3ds and all my games? i assume so since basically all of that is on my sd card, but will it just show up after a reformat? (ive owned this 3ds for like a month cut me some slack here i dont know what im doing)

you dont need to unlink your nnid to use your pnid

just install nimbus, switch to pretendo servera and make a pnid from there

nnid and pnid are separate and you can keep both

i dont recommend removing the nnid, you can use it for pokemon bank and redownloads on eshop

if you are getting 022-5432 or you are getting the nnid on pretendo servers, just switch to nintendo, open to eshop and go back to pretendo

Fast and easy way to unlink your NNID/PNID without formatting:

  • Turn off your console.
  • Hold Start on boot to get in Godmode9
  • Press the “Home” button to bring the action menu
  • Go to “Scripts”
  • Select “GM9Megascript”
  • Select “Scripts from Plailect’s Guide”
  • Select “Remove NNID” (it will also unlink your PNID if you have one linked to your console WITHOUT formatting)
  • Press A to continue
  • Press A to unlock the SysNAND and input the given combo
  • Press A to continue
  • Press B to go back to the main menu
  • Select “Exit”
  • Press A to relock write permission if it asks you to
  • Press START to reboot your console and voilà.

And it logs you out normally.
