I’ve tried many times over and over again to put in my exact password to my PNID-linked account on my Wii U, being very careful that it’s right, and my console keeps claiming “Incorrect password. Please try again.” I can’t say I “forgot my password”, since despite my PNID being linked to my Gmail which still functions perfectly, I get an error message whenever I try to send a message there by saying “I forgot.” What’s even weirder is that when I put that exact same password into the PNID website, it logged me in just fine. It logged me in on my Wii U a while ago, too, so why does it reject it now? It MIGHT have something to do with me moving house and having to switch all my consoles’ WiFi connections, but switching my Wii U’s connection to my new house’s router didn’t fix anything. It still says “incorrect password” despite me putting in the correct password every time and being VERY careful of it. Can this be fixed? I’m out of options, especially since it’s not yet possible to change your password outside of the linked console…

SSSL or Aroma?
What do you mean? I logged into Pretendo on my Wii U without mods, all I did was follow some tutorial that had me look up the site on my Wii U’s browser… I think. It was months ago
"without mods* makes me think SSSL.
you typed in a DNS address, right?
first, make sure it is correct.
How do I make sure of that?
go to System Settings --> Internet Settings --> Connect to the Internet
then press X and select your network
afterwards select Change Settings
push the right arrow to go to the next page. you should see the DNS option at the bottom. select that
then tap Don't Auto-obtain
then enter these values
hit Confirm, then press B, and select Connection Test
once it succeeds, confirm and set your connection at the default.
yes.
quit System Settings and sign out.
assuming you haven't homebrewed your console, as you said earlier
on the user select screen, press +
Yes
wow.
It’s working again
yay!
Thank you so much
