#[Wii U] Switching an existing User with NNID to a Pretendo Network ID
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
use the forgot password option
But this gives me the Errorcode: 102-2452... I'm running Aroma with the Pretendo Plugging
Support code detected, press to expand information
odd
wait why are you running with inkay on for NNID
remove the SD card and reboot the console
that could help yes
Ok i'll try
Because i recently reactivated my Wii U it was still running Haxchi from 2018...
And this User has all my old Saves
that doesnt answer my question
you cant connect to nintendo network while connected to inkay
Yeah makes sense when you think about it ':)
literally because it patches out the NN links?
Yes
did it work out for you?
I'll try it later...
ok tell @crystal vigil if it was a sucess or not,I will be sleeping by 11PM so i don't have time to reply
So i made it a little bit different: I found the Homebrew Application Wii U Account Swap... With this I backed up my NNID account.dat (just in case, even though i won't need it anymore at this point) and unliked it. Than i just switched inkay to use Pretendo Network and signed in...
did you unlink you NNID?,that is still important for certain stuff
you will need to restore it when you update new games that you might buy
Yeah ok that's a point... But other than that it works for me, since i already have tons of Games with the Updates already downloaded
and do you want me to close this thread?,since it's done now
I can try the "forget password" Method and report if it worked, after that you can close it...
report to anyone in the support chat by the way
Ok
I'm also getting this error :(
You have to disable Pretendo Network using inkay, or just take out the SD Card
i just didnt have a second user lol
How do you mean this?
@crystal vigil I tried it, but didn't get the email. Than i found out, that i no longer have access to email i used for the NNID (i thought it was a different one). But you can open the Connected NNID dumped with Wii U Account Swap in a Text editor and get the used email and password this Way...
