#nintendo network ID help
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Should I try to figure out the information or is there a way for me to create a new id and transfer the old data?
Pretendo Id's dont need access to your Nintendo ID all you need to do is make an account and then use SaveMii/Checkpoint(for 3ds) to transfer your data from Nintendo to Pretendo account
Oh ok, so then will I be able to transfer that data to a new account if I wanted?
also my old 3ds is locked behind a parental controls pin. Can I just call Nintendo to access it?
They most likely won't/cant help with that anymore I'd say just use https://mkey.salthax.org/ to remove the parental controls
Oh yeah I already did it from the Nintendo website. I had to pay 50 cents. But this seemed like it was easier
So once I connect to pretend and transfer my data I won’t need my old id anymore?
also would I be able to link my pretendo to my switch account
Or is there no point on doing that, because I never added friends or anything on my wii u
You would only need it for system transfers and to redownload eshop purchases
The Pretendo account wouldnt link to the Switch being that Pretendo is on completely different servers from Nintendo
I am confused with what you mean by this so as of now I can't answer fully
What I am asking is if I can get rid of my old network id because they stopped support of it.
And then I was asking if I should connect my pretendo account to my main Nintendo account, because I know there is an option to connect your Nintendo account to your network id. I was wondering if there is any purpose for doing so
No there isnt really any purpose to do that you can get rid of your old Id if you feel like it but I'd keep it incase I want to reinstall updates for any games I purchased on that Id
I see
I still don’t know my original id password and I don’t have access to the email
Someone mentioned there’s this hb app called ftpiiu?
I'm confused are you trying to do this for the 3ds or Wii U
I was searching around for a while, if you want to delete your Nintendo account from your Wii U without knowing the email or password to it you can use this tool, it's been tested by many and it works for removing the account
