118-xxxx errors are a problem in the p2p so it's almost like a problem on your connection, this also happens to me in my Wii U, i dunno how it works with cemu but try restarting your router and see your connection settings in cemu
it never worked for me, i'm also have been using hotspot but i am doomed to stay lvl 1 forever D:
most ppl have been putting their Wii U into DMZ by just going into the router settings and change DNS and IP, but idk cause it's a 2015 article

nah, i'm also using hotspot data and i did nothing rn, just searching how to get rid of this error without messing with your router data or something

i remember 2 years ago i was trying to play mario kart 7 and i was not finding a room, when i changed to my mom's hotspot, it was working

with Nintendo Network was so much easier to not take this error, just reset the internet's data and done
the confusing thing is if you search this error on Pretendo's support code it will just say that the error is related to PIA - game servers (p2p)
i searched up on google how to enable DMZ on hotspot but it depends for the connection ur using

yeah, this says that it's not reccomended to use a hotspot wifi
