#Cemu boot loop with pretendo on splatoon

I’m having the same problem
we need a dev to look into this
Same issue here. Here's my log also.
<@&1228132296259797093> can someone help here
ensure you don't have 5 or more friends on your account, ideally, you should have none
if it worked before and stopped working after an error, try booting the game in offline mode, then in online mode again
You mean start the game offline and then enable online?
Doesn’t work because u can’t dis/enable online once game started
start offline and get to the plaza, enable online and restart cemu
still boot loops
.
how did you fix?
I had this same problem then realized my internet was just off
pretty much what they said delete frineds
go offline then into the lobby
after that restart cemu but now online
then it should work
i'm trying to delete friends but it's not working
it's dumb that you have to delete your friends for this to work
test to see if you can connect online on another game
mario maker a good one to test
did it work before that
huh nvm
that's crazy
Well, the infrastructure is still kinda WIP. It's like in Wiimmfi's early days. It worked with major caveats and after a few years it was basically indistinguishable from what Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was. Also Nintendo Network is waaaay more complicated than Nintendo WFC so there's more work to do. It's the growing pains. And hey, when some kid in the future complains about a disconnect, we can tell them how it was now. Where you couldn't have any friends or the server shits it's bed.
Yup, works for me as well. "Having friends breaks Pretendo's Friend Service" Kinda funny, but understandable.
Still is a pain
The wii u isn’t any better
With its shared data problems
Like I said. It's the growing pains. It'll get better over time.
You can't expect a fairly new fan project to be a drop in replacement with all bells and whistles for a system that has been designed together with the hardware by a large corporation. At some point it will be close if not perfect, but that takes time. The devs have to reverse engineer what Nintendo did. That's no easy task as there's no documentation or anything from Nintendo.
