#|FIXED| Are the devs aware of the error 001-0502 ??

I started getting this error this morning as well
same
No official word on it, But they likely do due to how widespread it is.
i also receive this error. it seems like to be related to your router wifi or something, not sure how or why, but restarting your router or using router from mobile data from your phone works
Yeah the same, wanted to add a friend but offline with this error...
I have been having this issue for almost a week now, when is a fix gonna come out?
It looks like the issue is only Pretendo online related. I can still connect to CTGP 7 independent servers. Although, I can still use juxtaposition.
The only working service at the moment in 3ds is juxt. I'm unaware if the friends service works since I don't have friends.
No not really, I get the same error code when I try to use the friends list.
it happens on and off for me, it's one of those errors that says "it's singleplayer for the next hour time"
Glad to see I'm not the only one getting this
I FOUND THE SOLUTION
All you have to do is change your 3DS IP address. How? First, you must gather some info from your router. You need the gateway and the subnet mask. You can get that info by going to cmd in your PC and typing "ipconfig/all". If you don't have a PC, just download any app on your phone that allows you to check your network information. Now, go to your 3DS settings > Network Settings > IP address. Then choose "no" in auto-obtain, and go to advanced options. Now, you must write a new IP address for your system. Make sure it is not the same as any device IP that is connected to your network. You can check that in your router settings. If you are too lazy to check that info, you can make a guess and create one taking into account that the ip must be 192.168.1.x. X must be a number between 2 and 255. Use a high number if you are unsure of the devices connected to your network. Then type the subnet mask and the gateway. That should fix the error.
You forgot about DNS, but still, a static IP doesn't fix the issue
Ye, you are right, DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Although it worked for me.
Once you changed IP, try reinstalling nimbus directly from github, not from universal updater
That's something I also did
Very convoluted """fixes""" for just a temporary bandaid. (i'm very sorry, but gotta be blunt on that)
Best temporary fix is to switch hotspots, or wait for the devs to tackle the issue
It's OK man. I recognize that the actual error comes from Pretendo. After some testing, changing the ip fixes it temporarily as you said. We just need to wait for the devs to fix it.
Just wondering
is anyone else able to go back online now?
error is gone for me
didn't change my IP or anything like that
The devs migrated to a new server
This error is now fixed normally ! It works for me :)

its happening again to me
but im gonna try this
sadly its still not working
i guess i got it to work by setting automatic ip to no and then set it to yes? but also i put the 1.1.1.1 DNS server
