I have bought this exact capture card just so I can replace my ancient Elgato HD60 (Unusable due to me being on Linux and even on the latest Windows, the driver doesn't work anymore). Unfortunately it's only 30fps and not even that it can hold. Also that USB 3.0 is a lie. The card only does USB 2.0

Squid Parties aren't banned as they don't consider it throwing.

My personal opinion: Throwing isn't always squid partying, but squid partying is always throwing. A short squidbag when you meet a friend and then continuing with the match like what @lament sonnet does when we're on the same team and coincidentally meet each other mid-match is fine. Squid partying an entire match should be banned under disruptive play.

we have multiple reasons for this

1. Cheaters LURK this thread, they have used this for harassment against Pretendo mods and the community on their Twitter accounts. Anonymised/private reports will fix this issue
2. This will prevent any potential toxicity coming towards the cheaters
3. It can allow private reports to be organised internally

I said this many months ago but this thread is set to be locked and closed eventually, there is no ETA but it will happen

...and the reason these crashes occur, is because the devs forgot to set the bullet static indexes to -1. That's literally it.

If you were to manually go ahead and set EVERY BULLET's static index/id to -1 before creating the actors, it wouldnt crash

this is possible to patch but it would take a very long time as it's a lot of manual effort

You just have to go through EVERY SINGLE STATIC ID and set it to -1 😭

Minecraft is specifically extremely jank. Whoever made the Wii U port didn’t make use of some security features provided by Nintendo and chose to do filtering on the client for some god forsaken reason (Nintendo provides ways to limit visibility and such for sessions to specific groups of people, but Minecraft just uses the “public” policy for matches). So we’ve been trying to hack fixes for this into the server side of things

We haven’t been able to replicate this behavior for what it’s worth. The plugin just hangs and crashes when the mods tried it

Yeah, same. If it’s able to be replicated then we can probably check the network requests it’s making and possibly patch stuff regarding that. But the unfortunate idea of closing down the MC servers has also been brought up. I’ve fought against that idea in the past because I’ve always felt like it’s a really nuclear option (outside of cases like ACNL that had an active RCE) and because it goes against our goals of being a full network replacement. But if Minecraft is going to continue to prove to be this level of a headache then I’m going to consider the idea
