It could also be that mode glitch that has been happening for about a month now

Basically what has been happening is that you have the new rotation, however you join a lobby who still has the old rotation. Then after that battle if you press continue your mode will change to whatever mode the previous battle was, until everyone leaves the lobby

Anyone would get it if it happened after a few minutes. But 23 minutes later, and that lobby was new. I'd been playing Rainmaker before, but the rotation changed, and I noticed right when the first match ended, and the second one started.

I mean, the matches I played after the rotation changed were a couple of Rainmaker games on the corresponding maps. Then I stopped playing for a bit, rejoined another lobby, and that's when that player started switching the mode.

iirc the rotation can temporarily change if you happen to be the next host after the older host leaves when they had the old rotation

i think the maps don't change, but only the mode changes to whatever the old rotation host had

solution? leave the lobby and ur good to go

Pretty sure Nintendo had a check to see if your rotation was the same as others in matchmaking to prevent the rotation de-sync

if you had one of the maps different, or the mode was different, you would not be in matchmaking with anyone, unless they had the same rotation as you

Hello, this afternoon (09/04 between 1pm to 2h30pm CET) I was playing with a player called “Jerry” on MK8. Every time he's in the game there's no blue shell! He goes way out in front and there's nothing we can do.

More than 20 races with this player with an average of 8 players per race, and the only blue shells that were launched were when he wasn't in first place. He's so far ahead that the 2nd and 3rd have bill balls. When he leaves the blue shell return to normal behavior.

I can't get his PNID because of a bug in the player history that does not update. I have no players after 2024. I don't know if this is normal or not.

in theory you could use /proc on linux which stores all processes memory

I don't know if anyone else came across a really strange type of player - every time I died, he would come back with me to the respawn area and move forward with me. It could be a coincidence, but over several matches the same thing kept happening: I'd die, and he'd return to the respawn area with me

I’ve got a hacker alert in Splatoon. They’re username looks kind of like “>52”, but I’m pretty sure they’re using other characters that just look like those. They are using that glitch that’s the bottomless supply of bombs that paints the entire map.
