Those are all bad cheats. Colour blindness and sensitivity is a real issue and from what I've heard, Splatoon's standard colours are perfectly between those issues. Mode changing is bad, because it effects what weapon you chose for the specific mode. Night mode makes trails harder to see and shadows non-existant (more than usual) and can inhibit a player's ability to play the game.

That's why none of those are allowed server-side.

This is everything I know:

No server-side mods. This includes night mode, changing maps, changing colours, flyhacks, filling the map with ink, speedhacks, etc.
The only exception is the Octolings mod, where technically it's server-side and using RivalEyes is allowed.

Client-side mods are allowed. This would be like: locally changing colours, Squidward models, Octoling models, anything with SplatHex, etc.

I got the NNID of someone who was cheating. They suspiciously always appeared in our base without painting anything at all, and jumped very high.

Are cheaters able to hide their PNID/themselves from the Recently Played With list? I was unable to find mikey in mine.

either that or they changed everything and aren't called mikey on Pretendo anymore

I didn't have time to capture images of the game, but I'm waiting to record again if it happens. Anyway, it was hard for me to notice because it was subtle, the player seemed to want to go unnoticed.

I don’t think so. I mean, accounts can’t be deleted and PNIDs can’t be changed so… apparently Friends hasn’t been loading some of the more recent people you play with :c

I saw them earlier, however I never got matched against them to notice. If its worth anything I did not notice them do it at our base, and it was a little laggy when I played earlier, but I’d have to see them play against me for me to know
