they're using a PID Randomizer which gives them a new "friend code" each time, hence they spam your recent list. There's tools to bypass those kind of spoofers though.

"Throwing" is the either intentional or unintentional act of not being able to keep up with the skill level of the team. Typically, it's associated with being AFK without notice, intentionally squid-party-ing with the enemy, not splatting the enemy, throwing yourself into the water, watching and not inking turf, etc. But there can be instances when "throwing" is unintentional, like if the controller breaks, disconnects, or dies, or if you're using Cemu, certain errors that affect your gameplay and ability to participate. It's very likely that it is not bannable to "throw" a game, but it is annoying and discouraged if it's intentional. (Using Splatoon terms for accuracy of the topic and how it relates to Pretendo)

So if someone hosted a Pretendo Splatoon Tournament with real-world prizes and required all the players to record their gameplay while participating, and they had a rule that toxic behaviour = disqualification, then they would be disqualified if seen partaking in toxic behaviour.😊

To be honest I have had lots of luck as of recently as I have been able to get into cheater less matches xd, although as soon as I spot one I DC and find another lobby, sometimes it is only a player and me, but after a couple races it gets populated, another lame cheater appears, rinse and repeat.
