Is there something I have to do before linking my pnid to my wii u? I followed the directions on the website.

ok, may have figured out what the issue is; i used the same email from my nnid for my pnid

however, idk how to delete my pnid

since i can't edit details on the website and can't find a delete account button

i recommend using the homebrew method (if you can) if you keep having issues as i haven’t had a single one using it for a few years now

but right now I'm not hacking my wii u, actually just to try out the hackless method myself to guide a friend thro so he can keep playing splatoon 1 or whatever online services he wants to continue playing. he has a disability that makes him not super good with tech. i don't want him not being good with tech force him to stop playing splatoon 1 or online services he wants to play. /g

it's not the email that have to be different

it's the username

#

as example

on nintendo network my username was Katsu_Maki_69
i can't putthe same username on pnid or it will mess up and not work

that why my pnid is KatsuMaki or KatsuYoutube now

also wps is a type of connection for wireless internet

#

someone had an issue coz their wiiu was connected to the wifi using wps connection

#

u can check that in the internet connection settings on the wiiu settings

you can change it to something else aswell

go to your main connection

there should be a wii wiiu logo next to it

go to edit or modify

and there should be something called connection type i believe ?

Well, first lets make sure your using the correct DNS, primary DNS should be 88.198.140.154 and secondary should be ether 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

AH, should have known, ok this is actully simple, go into system settings, then data management, then find splatoon and delete its shared save data

Fyi shared save data won't effect your inkling's data and stuff, it's data used for maps and modes
