Same issue here, following this thread. Made a whole new email and ID to make sure it wasn't connected to any NNID accounts of mine, and I still get this error. Everything seems correct on my end

I even tried making a new Mii and linking it to that Mii and same exact issue.

It's my ISP that disabled custom dns, thats why it doesnt work

hey so I have the same error as everyone else I think. I went to dnsleaktest. How do I check if it disables custom DNS? Also, can I use my phones hotspot, does that work?

Do a standard test while changing your DNS on your device, if it still connects to your ISP's then they blocked custom DNS
Phone hotspot should work depending if it's blocked or not

my wii u did do a software update after I changed the DNS connections, so I wonder if that had something to do with it
