Hello,
I saw on the forums that you could set up a pretendo ID the same way you would a normal ID on the 3Ds.
I have the new ID screen open, but I just want to confirm; can I link my existing ID, or do I need to create a new one?
I don’t want to link an existing one and screw everything up.

You can choose either
Make one online at https://pretendo.network
Or
Make one on your console
If one doesn’t work do the other
Juxtaposition sign ups don’t work rn so you cannot access that for now though

If you made a NAND back up while modding your 3DS, you should be fine if a brick happens. But the probability of a brick is very very low.

Don’t use the same ID username across Pretendo and Nintendo Network
Or else you’ll be pretty stuck

You cannot log into old Nintendo network ID and use that for pretendo. You need to make a Pretendo network ID. Might be easier to do it online
Make an account through the link above ^

Nah I got it, just misunderstood I think. Making a new one now.

Then switch to Pretendo Network on nimbus if you haven’t already, go to Nintendo Network settings
And link the pretendo network id you’ve just made

You’re allowed to use the same email address
The only thing you’re not allowed to share is the username
If that is the same, you’ll be in some trouble

It’s fine you don’t need it anymore
Switch to Pretendo Network via the nimbus app
Go to system settings
Nintendo Network Settings which should be at the top of the bottom screen
Link an existing Nintendo Network ID
Put in your Pretendo Network details that you’ve created

...you have to set your system locale to spanish
