That wasn't working for me when I did it on Monday. It's a lot safer to make the account on a computer, I think, at least for the time being while the servers are being hit with the massive traffic influx from new users.

Then you copy everything to your sd card (don't rename it or anything) And then you can launch save mii from your console
Then download inkay from here (the file i showed in the screenshot) and then go to your sd card then open the wiiu folder then environments then aroma and then plugins and copy it there https://github.com/PretendoNetwork/Inkay/releases/tag/v2.4.0
