#Pokemon Dumps Question

I've just discovered this project, and would like to try to contribute via dumps in the little time there is left. Personally, I'd be most interested with dumping pokemon games. do yall still want more pokemon dumps? if so what exactly am I supposed to do? The online doc wasnt super descriptive.

Hi! I'm not a developer but to answer your questions:

  • they're always looking for more dumps, even if they already have some! Anything you can offer is welcome
  • to start dumping, you'll need a modded console. For 3DS + pokemon specifically, you'll need to install HokakuCTR: https://github.com/PretendoNetwork/HokakuCTR/tree/v1.0.3 (there are instructions at the bottom of this link)
  • once you have that installed, you can go to #1224393540524572692 to find people to play with OR just generally queue for trades/battles/any online feature and play the game. Do as much as you can
  • after that is done, open up your 3DS SD card on your computer and get the dump file from the HokakuCTR folder. You can submit it in the Discord by using the /upload-network-dump command

Like don't bloat the dumps with you randomly connecting and disconnecting to run off and do single player stuff

And if possible, do battles, get the dumps for that, then do trades and submit that too. You should include what you did with your submission

It makes it easier for the devs to understand what is happening
