I created an account on the website and linked it with my Discord, but I don't know how to sign in on my 3DS. I have the app installed and tapped on "Pretendo" to swap to the servers, but I don't know what else there is to do.
I know it's closed beta, so I don't expect to be playing right now, I just want to at least log in if I can.

just log in by switching to pretendo and going to system settings and press nintendo network id settings then press link an existing id

Do I need to log out of that?

you just have to reset your 3ds, then your nnid will disappear when you check settings

Create a Pretendo account at pretendo.network , then download Nimbus on Universal Updater, switch to Pretendo in Nimbus and then through settings log-in into your pretendo account
Your NNID will stay because it's saved on Nintendo servers, switching between Pretendo and Nintendo won't erase any of your accounts
