#Does Pretendo still work even if my console is apparently banned?

So apparently I'm console banned.. Would that affect Pretendo Network? Maybe that's what's causing the Wara Wara Plaza not to appear for me?

Legit the only thing I can think of I did to possibly get banned was use SwipSwapMe for Splatoon, idk how could possibly hurt anyone but myself

Okay fair, but maybe is it messing with the Wara Wara Plaza? Because no matter what I've done I haven't gotten it to appear once.

And I can confirm now, I logged into my PNID on Wii U and I can play Splatoon fine it seems

Isn't it? And I KNOW Splatoon works because it gives me the error Pretendo gives when not in public beta, so clearly there's a connection being established, just not to the Wara Wara Plaza?

Was this WiiU online when Miiverse was originally online?

Also your Nintendo bans have nothing to do with this. As far as your console is concerned it isn't banned on anything, it's the server that tells it if it's banned

Nope, Wii U wasn't online, well it was, but I factory reset it after the shutdown due to some problems that required it

Meaning that yes I've been on Miiverse with it before, I just factory reset it a while after shutdown. Does that still count?

Either way, my problem isn't that, that can be circumvented easily with Pretendo.. but then why isn't the Plaza loading? I've done literally everything you can THINK of doing, and not a scratch
