#Is Cemu Servers Down?

i think they removed it cuz of cheaters in splatoon 1
but im trying to play mario kart ._.
beta is over so cemu doesn't work unless you upgrade
You need to dump your system files from a real WiiU to use Cemu
They removed the ability to download files
It was being abused to bypass bans
You'll need to dump from a real Wii U or ask a friend who has a Wii U to dump em for you
This isn’t true. Anything that’s accessible to the public still works in Cemu, so long as you have legitimately dumped console files
I like how the dump sharer role is grey
I would share a few but I don't have any more slots cus I've already shared some to a few people in Minecraft lce speedrunning discord
I have my old Wii U but I'm not formatting that
it has my old miis and stuff I can't just wipe that
That’s not what that means. That role is to give people access to a special channel dedicated to sharing network dumps, not game or system dumps. We don’t support that. Since network dumps often times contain people’s passwords, emails, and other personal information only very few people have access to the channel. Most of the core dev team doesn’t even have access to it
We don’t officially support sharing console dumps, as it’s a rather gray area since it means sharing crypto keys and the like. But we definitely don’t recommend it, since it puts you at risk. It means sharing your consoles unique certificate, and if they gets banned then so does everyone else who uses those dumps and the console they came from
But there’s nothing we can do to really stop it from happening
As for game dumps, we outright ban that practice here. We don’t allow piracy or any kind, or even offering to help with it
ah didn't know (abt the first one)
bit stupid to ban the whole fucking console, I know it's to stop alting but could do smth like stop you from adding more nnids to this console unless you contact support (edge cases exist)
Contacting support is trivial for real issues but it's probably too much effort for ban evasion, since you could get caught - so evaders probably wouldn't bother
